Slight Sales Increase Shows Market Resilience

In June 2025, Memphis recorded a small but notable increase in home sales, according to the Memphis Area Association of REALTORS®. A total of 1,595 homes were sold, reflecting a 1% year-over-year rise and an 11% jump from May 2025.

With more than half of homes selling below asking price, buyers are showing increased price sensitivity. This trend marks a slight shift toward a buyer’s market, especially in areas with high inventory or slower sales.
